SEOUL -- For the second year in a row, producer Tcha Seung-jai of Sidus FNH has been voted the most powerful figure in the Korean film industry.
The annual "Power 50" list compiled over the past 12 years by leading film weekly Cine21 singled out Tcha for his role as South Korea's most active producer and for his new position as head of the Korea Film Producers Assn.

Among the 12 titles his company released in 2006 are megahit "Tazza: The High Rollers" and gangster epic "A Dirty Carnival."

Coming in at No. 2 was CJ Entertainment prexy Kim Joo-sung, followed by Cinema Service founder and director Kang Woo-suk at No. 3; Showbox CEO Kim Woo-taek at No. 4; and Bong Joon-ho, director of record-breaking hit "The Host," at No. 5.

Rounding out the top 10 were iHQ prexy Teddy Jung Hoon-tack, "Oldboy" helmer Park Chan-wook, Lotte Entertainment CEO Kim Kwang-seop, actor Song Kang-ho ("The Host") and "King and the Clown" helmer and producer Lee Joon-ik.

For the first time, the magazine also polled industry figures on the box office pull and acting talent of local thesps, with actor Song Kang-ho ultimately topping both lists. Song is shooting Manchuria-set Western "The Good, the Bad, and the Weird," directed by Kim Jee-woon.

Personal Note : "Included in this list is "King and the Clown" helmer and producer Lee Joon-ik" Congrats to Director/Producer Lee !!!!
